Nagasa - 68 cm Moto-haba - 3.0 cm Nakago - o-suriage with three mekugiana Certification: Toensha kanteisho
This is a very well forged Shinto katana by Sagami no Kami Yasuyuki. The sword is O-suriage but still has very nice sugata and measures 68cm in length and is 3cm wide at the habaki-moto. The hamon is a suguha-based notare in ko-nie deki. The boshi is ko-maru with thick hakikkake. The jihada is a wonderfully forged ko-mokume with ji-nie which would make one think of top-level Hizen workmanship. This sword has well-cut bohi ending in marudome. It is in older polish with a gold-foil habaki and shirasaya.
