This is a tanto by the shinshinto smith Bushu Naokazu in absolutely beautiful higo mounts. This blade is flawless, in fresh polish with a solid silver habaki and new shirasaya. The koshirae is ubu and in an excellent state of preservation. All of the fittings are ensuite in iron with gold accents. The saya is encirled with ribs of varying width and its lacquer has only a few small losses. Only an iron kogai is needed to complete this wonderful set of mounts.
